John Lehmberg

John is a 20 year veteran of ministry, having grown up in Randallstown, MD, a suburb of Baltimore. Ministry was written on John's heart from an early age; he discovered his call to minister through the local church while serving in Young Life. He picked up the acoustic guitar first in high school, leading the singing in his Young Life club, and later, leading worship in college. He graduated from Eastern College in 1989, with a degree in Youth Ministry and in History. John's initial training was with Duffy Robbins at Eastern, and in more recent years, he has been coached by Pastor Dan Reiland from Injoy Ministries at Crossroads Community Church in Lawrenceville, GA. John is the founding Youth Pastor of two different churches, including Crossroads. He served at Crossroads for nearly a decade and led the student ministry there from 20 students in a trailer classroom, to a transforming student ministry with 250 kids and over 50 leaders. John has led worship for the students in every church he has served. He later became a small groups pastor at Crossroads, and has personally served in churches of all sizes, from 100 to churches of over 3000.

John is the pastor of a house church he planted in 2004 called Village Church and has been speaking to churches and students all over the United States, as well as consulting with Pastors, Youth Pastors, Leaders, and Interns, in ministry leadership. In addition to speaking, coaching, and consulting, John owns Make It Loud, Inc., a web design firm in Lawrenceville, GA. John has been married to his wife Glenda since 1992. She is a home appraiser and a stay-at-home mom, as well as being a qualified Myers-Briggs Personality-Type Consultant. John and Glenda have made the Atlanta area their home and have 4 children. John loves ministry and considers it his life-long calling.
